Chef & Proprietor Anne Milneck covers the role of spices in the formation of the distinctly different Cajun and Creole cuisines. Your group will relax in our beautiful Teaching Kitchen as Anne covers the flavor contributions of nations that settled South Louisiana. From spicy Natchitoches meat pies to smoky andouille sausage to thick, rich gumbo, Anne covers it all. All demos end with a taste of Louisiana Bread Pudding with Spiced Rum Sauce.

Hands-on Cooking Classes
Chef-led cooking classes will have you group working as a team to create a multi-course meal in our gorgeous Teaching Kitchen. Menus are customized for each group and include tons of interactions with our chefs and instructors. Learn to fold Natchitoches Meat Pies. Stir the perfect roux and Shrimp & Okra Gumbo. Cook up a smoky-sweet Corn Macque Choux. Soothe your sweet tooth with Gateaux de Sirop. All cooking classes end in a full meal.
